Traynor Custom Valve 20WR answers the need for guitar players looking for superior sounding all-tube tone in a smaller, yet still feature loaded, lower powered, more manageable amplifier package. The Traynor Custom Valve 20WR is perfect for the studio or for any gig where 15 tube watts is more than enough power, but full functionality is required. Unlike competitive amplifiers in this class, the YCV20WR offers the discriminating player two discrete footswitchable channels with true independent gain and volume controls on each.

A master three band EQ, effects loop (line output) as well as an internal spring reverb are all standard equipment. Additional controls include bright switch on the clean channel and boost switch on the lead channel.

The Traynor Custom Valve 20WR ensures clean quiet operation by borrowing the same DC Filament and regulated power supply design as used in its big brothers, the Custom Valve 40 and Custom Valve 80's. The YCV20WR is a "Class A" power amplifier driven by three Sovtek 12AX7A's and two EL84's and features a Celestion "Greenback" G12M 12 speaker, for a truly classic tone. The Custom Valve 50BLUE is based on the already extremely popular Custom Valve 40, which was a past Guitar Player™ Editor's Pick Award Winner.
Real tube overdrive is provided by three premium Sovtek 12AX7A dual triode preamp tubes while the 50 watts of real tube power is provided by two Sovtek EL34 power tubes. The internal gadgetry in this channel switching amp provides great flexibility, but makes it very easy to get a great tone.

The combination of the tube power and the Celestion™ Vintage 30 speaker can only be described as magical. They have added a Blue Nubtex covering, black grille, black logo as well as black plastic corners along with the EL34 power tubes to complete a whole new look and feel that is destined to become a classic. This combined with the Celestion™ Vintage 30 speaker help gives the Custom Valve 50BLUE a rich "boutique" look, sound and feel.

The three basic tones (clean, crunch and overdrive) are easily defined. Although signal-to-noise is not normally a specification that is discussed where guitar amplifiers are concerned, the ultra-quiet Custom Valve 50BLUE makes it an issue. General Overview.

The Bassrider 400 is a bass amp combo with many cool features that any bass
player will find very usable. Whether you're gigging, recording, practicing or
just beginning the Bassrider 400 will deliver the goods.






The Bassrider is a 400 Watts RMS into 8 ohm valve hybrid amp. The combo is
fitted with a Celestion BL15-400 8 Ohm 15" bass driver and also an 8 Ohm
200 Watt 1" HF driver. The HF driver can be attenuated via a switch on the
rear panel with 3 different settings. Standard (0dB), Padded (-6dB) or
Disabled.

The cabinet has been designed in such a way that the driver is angled
slightly upward, giving the user a far better listening perspective whilst
using the amp. There's no longer any need to seek out an old beer crate to
stand it on, or a stick to lean it back against so you can hear yourself!
The Bassrider 400 can also be configured with extension speaker cabs for
bigger venues, or simply more oomph! With the addition of an 8 Ohm cab
(minimum handling of 400 Watts RMS) the total output will rise to
600 Watts RMS.

Adding a 4 Ohm cab (minimum handling of 600 Watts RMS) the amp will
deliver a huge 800 Watts RMS. Using the built in limiter will ensure a clean,
powerful bass sound at very high SPL's.

As mentioned earlier the Bassrider 400 is a hybrid amp utilising a valve
preamp stage, allowing the amp to deliver a warm analogue sound. The
demise of the valve a few years ago left many amps sounding brittle and
unexciting, but over time players, designers and listeners have all agreed
that there simply is no substitute for a valve amp.

So Indie decided to incorporate an 'old school' valve front end into the
Bassrider 400 thus allowing the natural tone and yumminess (if that's a
word?) of an analogue instrument to shine through. The valve preamp
accurately reproduces and very often can beautifully emphasise the second
harmonics and further overtones that transistor amps nearly always fail to
capture. And additionally, when driven a bit harder that natural valve
compression and clipping adds even more punch and grit.

The Bassrider 400 truly is a hybrid amp, combining classic valve technology
and tone with modern controls and features. Designed by musicians not
laboratory technicians, it's built to last and is simple to use.

The amp has a selectable Parallel or Series FX Loop, Balanced XLR Line Out, Unbalanced Jack Lineout, Pre-amp Gain knob, Built in Compressor/ Limiter, a Bright switch and a 7 Band EQ that can be switch on and off.

Way back in 1961, VOX rolled out the AC4 amplifier. Nearly fifty years later, VOX is pleased to announce the AC4TV – the all-tube practice amp with remarkable self control. This up-to-date Class A version retains the distinctive EL84 power tube of the original and features a 12AX7 powered pre-amp, all driving a custom-made Celestion 10 inch speaker. Simple and sexy, the AC4TV wears its pedigree proudly. The cabinetry features the same “TV” front design first used on the classic 1958 AC15, and still in use on today’s AC15H1TV Heritage Series. One of the challenges confronting an all-tube amp is retaining a full tone at lower volumes. To solve this issue, the AC4TV features a built-in power attenuator, with 4 Watt, 1 Watt and ¼ Watt output levels – ensuring you never lose that classic tube tone, even at the lowest listening levels. Want more? The AC4TV also adds a 16 Ohm speaker output, allowing you to add an additional cabinet – such as the VOX412BN – and state your sonic signature with authority. Equipped with two custom-designed 12" Celestion speakers, the AC30VR delivers a roaring 30 watts of power. The Normal channel offers both Bass and Treble tone controls, along with a single Volume knob. A Gain knob has been added to the Overdrive channel, as well as a Middle control for more defined tone shaping. In the Master section, the AC30VR features our unique Tone Cut circuit knob for dampening the high-end frequencies. Master Reverb and Master Volume controls are also provided.

Back for More
The AC30VR's back panel features an external speaker jack for use with an 8 ohm extension cabinet. Using an extension cabinet will mute the internal speaker. Also provided is a jack for the optional VOX VFS2 dual footswitch, which offers hands-free channel-switching and reverb on/off action.

VOX Pathfinder 15R Combo Amp with effects

With the classic good looks of its bigger brothers, the new 15-Watt, 1 x 8" Pathfinder 15 combo packs a profusion of VOX style and sound into a highly compact and affordable package. Like other family members, it sports typical VOX characteristics like basket-weave vinyl, diamond grille cloth, white piping, gold beading and, of course, ‘chicken head’ pointer knobs.

Performance Control
The Pathfinder 15 houses a wonderful sounding, vintage Tremolo effect and is extremely versatile when it comes to tone. Its distinctive, maroon coloured top panel features a Gain Boost switch plus controls for Volume, Gain, Treble, Bass, Tremolo Speed and Tremolo Depth. Both the Gain Boost and the built-in Tremolo are footswitchable via an optional, VOX VFS2 dual footswitch, offering you even more performance power.

Bulldog Speakers and More
The Pathfinder 15 produces 15 Watts of power that drives a specially voiced 8" VOX Bulldog speaker. In addition to a Headphone output that mutes the internal speaker for ‘silent’ practice, the rear panel also has a specially filtered Line Out jack for recording/live work and an External Speaker output as well.

Pathfinder 15R – 15 Watt, 1 x 8" Combo with Reverb, plus Footswitchable Gain Boost & Tremolo
The Pathfinder 15R is identical to the Pathfinder 15 but also features an onboard Spring Reverb system with a Reverb control that adjusts the level of the effect.

Top Panel Features

Input Jack. Standard 1/4" jack for guitar connection.
Gain Control. Set higher for crunch and distortion sounds and lower for cleaner tones.
Boost Switch. Press in for more gain and distortion. Press out for cleaner sounds. You can turn this function on and off remotely with the optional VFS2 Footswitch.
Volume Control. Controls the overall volume. Set high for clean sounds. Lower the level when setting the Gain control high for distortion.
Treble Control. Adjusts the higher frequencies or treble in your tone, from soft and full at one extreme to bright and cutting at the other.
Bass Control. Adjusts the lower frequencies or bass in your tone, from warm and light at one extreme to dark and heavy at the other.
Tremolo Speed Control. Controls the speed at which the built in tremolo oscillates. You can also control the tremolo function remotely with the optional VFS2 Footswitch.
Tremolo Depth Control. Controls the intensity of the built in tremolo.
Reverb Control (Only on Pathfinder 15R.) This control enables you to vary the level of the built-in spring Reverb.
Power ON/OFF Switch & LED. On/Off switch for mains (AC) power to amplifier. Plus power indicator LED.
Rear Panel Features
Headphone Output Jack. The headphone jack on the rear panel mutes the built-in speaker and lets the guitarist play "silently" at any time.
